Starfy is finally heading west, but why wasnt he localised earlier? Apparently a yellow starfish is too Japanese

Many of us were first introduced to Starfy through his appearance as an attack trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Originally deemed "too Japanese" for English localisation, the fifth game in the series will be released in English as "The Legendary Starfy". The new DS game "seemed like the perfect time to introduce the character" according to Nintendo. They may even bring the rest of the series over, or even create a console version, depending on response to this one.

Legend of Starfy will be released in America on the 8th of June, with no confirmed date for Australia.
