Want Virtual Boy games on the Nintendo 3DS? Let Nintendo know

Revealed at E3, the Nintendo 3DS will feature a Virtual Console of its own, which will (initially) offer 3D-ified Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. It makes us wonder what other systems games could hit the system. Perhaps the N64? Yes please. The NES? Oh yeah. What about the Virtual Boy? Say what?

The Virtual Boy console was of course Nintendos ill-fated foray into "true 3D" graphics in the mid-90s. Only 22 games were released for it in its few months of production, and it wasnt released in Australia at all. You can see how Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime finds it difficult to argue for Virtual Boy games on the 3DS, especially when hes never played it.

"As a consumer, I have experience with every Nintendo platform and, I think every accessory, including the Superscope, with the exception of the Virtual Boy… so its difficult for me to articulate a point of view back to our parent company [in Japan] why we absolutely have to have a Virtual Boy store." But maybe you can. Would you like to see Virtual Boy games on the 3DS? Or do you think Nintendo should focus on other classic systems?
