Square-Enix refreshing classics on the DS to Europe

Square-Enix announced today that they are bring re-invigorated versions of Arkanoid and Space Invaders to the Nintendo DS. Arkanoid will have Wi-Fi Connection support also. Space Invaders seems to be getting the more exciting press though, with the game undergoing an 30th anniversary overhaul, with a great soundtrack, slick visuals and fast, frenetic gameplay. The games will be titled Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme. Arkanoid will operate with an optional paddle accessory giving the ultimate arcade feel. Source: IGN
