Over the weekend the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival took place in Europe. During the event Square Enix has mentioned that a Nintendo Switch version of the game was under consideration.
This isn’t the first time the company has discussed the possibly of this happening. As far back as August 2015, director and producer Naoki Yoshida said that they were open to putting the game on the Switch, that’s back when it was called the NX.
If Final Fantasy XIV did come to the Switch it wouldn’t be the only MMO on the system with Dragon Quest X also planned for some time this year.
