Splatoon’s Splatfest is the Everybody Votes Channel reincarnated

The Everybody Votes Channel was a simple channel for the Wii that posed a simple question every so often and well everybody voted.

Nintendo is taking that same idea into Splatoon and adding squids, ink and shooting each other to the equation. Splatoon will feature themed events called Splatfests, these events will pose a question to Splatoon players from each region, you pick a answer and you’re placed on a team with your like minded players.

The first event will take place a couple weeks after release in June, the first theme will be rock or pop music – which is your favourite. Will the rockers take out the Super Sea Snail or will it be the pop fans? Only time will tell.
