Splatoon 2’s next splatfest oozes some turtle power

Nintendo has announced the next Splatfest and boy is it a big one. Celebrating the upcoming release of the new series, ‘Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ players will be able to duke it out for their favourite Turtle brother. The first round begins on May 4th, exact local times still to come and pits the leader Leonardo against hot-head Raphael.

Another round will follow, which will pit chilled dude Michelangelo against tech head Donatello, the date for it has been confirmed, and will be the following weekend. If you participate you can rep your turtle of choice in the plaza, with one of the below shirts.

Nintendo Australia have now confirmed the times for Australian players, there are three rounds, Raph & Leo the first week, then Mikey and Donnie the next, with the two winning teams competing in the third round, here are the dates and times.

Round 1: Raph vs. Leo

5th May (Saturday) 2:00pm AEST – 6th May (Sunday) 2:00pm AEST

Round 2: Mikey vs. Donnie

12th May (Saturday) 2:00pm AEST – 13th May (Sunday) 2:00pm AEST
