Taito have revealed that their latest rendition of a classic, Space Invaders: Get Even, is being readied as a download for Nintendo’s WiiWare platform. Announced back in March, Space Invaders: Get Even adds a twist to an already classic formula, allowing players to destroy the human race instead of the opposite, like in previous games in the series. It is unclear whether or not Space Invaders will be released as retail based game as well, but it is highly unlikely. Japanese Wii owners can look forward to playing the title come Winter this year, however there is no western release date as of the moment.
