Sony CEO trash talks Nintendo
Refers to Nintendo handhelds as Babysitting Tools.
Just when you thought it was safe, another CEO opens their mouth and says something stupid. Sony president and CEO Jack Tretton has recently been opening his mouth again, and you know what means; vitriol and hate towards his competitors. You know, the ones that are beating his products.
Speaking to Fortune, the loveable CEO had this to say about Nintendo handhelds, lets see if you agree:
"Our view of the Game Boy experience is that its a great babysitting tool, something young kids do on airplanes, but no self-respecting twenty-something is going to be sitting on an airplane with one of those… Hes too old for that."
Here is a picture of a Donkey, it has nothing to do with this story.
Now, we could spin off some figures regarding how much more units the DS has sold over the PSP, or we could troll him back. But were better than that. Twenty year olds dont do that sort of thing, were more grown up than that. Geezers like Tretton though, lack class.
Theres only one tool in this article.
