Sonic returns to the 3DS with Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice
While the Wii U version of Sonic Boom might have been completely terrible, the Nintendo 3DS version was quite a bit alright. Now again Sonic will be dashing onto the system later this year with Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice.
Developed once again by Sanzaru Games Inc, Fire & Ice will again feature Sonic and his friends as they embark on a new adventure to not only battle Dr. Eggman but also a new super villain, D-Fekt.
As the name suggests the game will use Fire and Ice during the game for special abilities. You’ll be be able to play the game in two different ways as well, super-“Sonic” fast or slow and explore the world some more. There’s also a specific speed mode called Bot Racing which is the multiplayer component of the game.
Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the Nintendo 3DS will be available in Australia and New Zealand this summer. Yes, our summer, not the American’s.
Am I the only one that read “D-Fekt” as something else ;). Maybe it is self referential canon fan service for the recent games!
As a die-hard Sonic Fan, I’m gonna get it, yet a part of my soul dies when I realise we’ll never see a decent Sonic game again, AGAIN!
