Sonic Lost World on Wii U gets patched
Sega have announced that Sonic Lost World on the Wii U will be patched within the upcoming days.
The patch will not only fix up a few small problems with the game but also squash some bugs.
The biggest changes are to do with the way game hands out lives, if you collect 100 rings you’ll now get an extra life. A strange omission in the first place we say. If you happen to get a Game Over screen as well you’ll restart the game with 10 lives. They’ll be handy in those tough later stages of the game.
Sega have listed the other changes on their official blog;
Gameplay Updates:
• Collecting 100 rings will now grant the player an extra life.
• In the event of a Game Over, we have doubled the amount of lives the player will begin with when continuing. (From 5 to 10)
• The Indigo Asteroid, Crimson Eagle, Orange Rocket, and Black Bomb Color Powers can now be controlled using the analog stick and buttons.
• Fixed a rare graphical issue that would sometimes appear during the pinball section of the Frozen Factory casino area.
Additional Updates:
• When completing the NiGHTMARE DLC, users will be notified that they can re-play it after scoring 100,000 points.
• Items will now appear on the world map.
We reviewed Sonic Lost World when it was released in November, we thought it was good but not great.
