Sonic Lost World release date speeds into view for Wii U and 3DS

Last night’s Nintendo Direct kicked off with some new footage of Sonic Lost World.

More importantly though the release date was announced and we don’t have to wait too long as the game will be hitting the Wii U and the 3DS on October 18th. This is the European date so expect another day added on to the end for Australia, but we’ll confirm with Nintendo Australia just to make sure.

Americans you will have wait a couple more days until October 22nd to get your hands on the game. I do love this wacky world we live in now where we get games before America.

Connectivity between the Wii U and 3DS games were revealed too. You will be able to create and customise radio-controlled gadgets on the Nintendo 3DS version of the game and send them to your Wii U. You can then use these gadgets in the games co-op mode.
