Skylanders Swap Force announced

As if there wasn’t enough Skylander toys to pick up, Activision is set to continue its assault on the wallets of 25 year old males kids yet again with the announcement of Skylanders Swap Force. The game is coming to the Wii U, Wii, 3DS and every other platform under the sun later this year.
The hook this year is the the toys are able to swap parts. Each of the Swap Force characters has two halves and you’re able mix and match them to create new characters. There’s also a new portal on the way too, no word if this one will actually be wireless unlike the cheap wired one included in Giants.
Activision haven’t given a solid release date for the game, but you can bet it’ll be before Christmas. There is however this trailer.
