Sega reveals its 3DS Virtual Console games
Which Game Gear games will make their debut on the 3DS in May?
At the Game Developers Conference held in the last week in San Francisco, one of the things Nintendo announced for the 3DS was that the 3DSs Virtual Console service would have Sega Game Gear games available for download. No Game Gear games were announced for the service, until just recently when Sega revealed the line-up of Game Gear games to be available.
The first Game Gear games to be released on the 3DSs Virtual Console are Sonic & Tales 2, Sonic Drift 2, The GG Shinobi, Dragon Crystal Shiranis Maze, and Columns. Its unknown if these games will be released upon the launch of the 3DSs eShop in May, or if we will have to wait a bit further down the line. Were also unsure how much these games will cost, but we do know that the eShop will be using real life currency for transactions rather than a points system used for the DSiWare Shop and the Wii Shop Channel.
