Madworld and House of the Dead Overkill are two games that occupy a niche spot in the market- mature-themed games only available on the Wii. As such, their sales success was never assured. In an interview with Venturebeat, Sean Ratcliffe discussed the global sales performance of each- House of the Dead has done very well and has absolutely met our expectations. The first set of data for Mad World is very encouraging, as well. Madworld debuted at eighth position on Aussie sales charts the week it launched, with next to zero promotion. Whether the game can maintain momentum or not may have a bearing on future adults-only games being developed by SEGA. Source: Venturebeat
