Also reconfirms Super Monkey Ball for launch

Sega just loves the Nintendo 3DS, so much that they will have a huge number of games out for the system all within the next calendar year. Speaking with Game Informer magazine, Alan Pritchard from Sega has said that "We have a number of 3DS titles in our line-up for next financial and calendar year. Theres four or five existing franchises, one or two from the old Sega IP locker, and were looking at one or two new IPs as well."

Doing the maths on that one, it looks Sega could have as many as nine titles out within the next year for the handheld. The only confirmed title so far is Super Monkey Ball 3DS which will be available on launch day. Thats February 26th in Japan, dates for other countries have yet to be revealed.
