No word on a Western release, however...
The Switch has become a hotbed for ports of arcade games, but Sega seems to be going above and beyond for their next arcade port.
Sega revealed new details for their Sega Ages port of Virtua Racing yesterday, and it’s a bit crazy. The Switch version of the game will support online multiplayer for two players, as well as an absolutely bonkers local multiplayer mode supporting split-screen gameplay for up to eight players.
Sega Ages: Virtua Racing launches in Japan in Spring of this year (Autumn for us down under), but there’s currently no word as to when we’ll see the game in the West. However, given the amount of Ages games still to come, and the seemingly increasing delay between the Japanese and Western releases of these games, we wager it’ll probably be a while.
