A poll from Famitsu concludes some disappointing results

A recent survey of Japanese readers published by Famitsu has unearthed some less-than-excited reactions regarding the Wii U. 38.3% of readers had a good impression of the Wii U after E3, whereas 44.7% did not have a good impression. The other 28% were undecided or uninterested.

22.5% didnt like the name, which may be connected to mass confusion surrounding the notion that the controller was simply an add-on for the Wii.

"Its a new console…OR IS IT?"

Of the 28% of people who were undecided, many stated they liked the consoles potential but were awaiting more information before making a decision. Others thought the console seemed a "minor upgrade to the Wii.

Its still early days – barely anything has been shown of the console, so its probably best to sit tight and just trust in the multiple developers vouching the strengths of the console. What does Vooks feel about the somewhat controversial new console?
