Scribblenauts 2 officially announced for DS
We may have learned about the game late last week, but Warner Bros. have finally given official confirmation that the sequel to Scribblenauts is on its way
The announcement confirms the sequels many improvements over the original, such as the introduction of adjectives that will exponentially multiply the possibilities of summonable items. You can use more than one adjective when summoning an item or creature, so if you got tired of using a Pterodactyl in the first game, we suggest you try ‘Large angry Pterodactyl’ to freshen things up. Returning hero Maxwell will once again be solving puzzles and chasing Starites over 120 all-new levels which are likely to be much more creative in design given the opportunities opened up by the new summoning system.
Samantha Ryan from Warner Bros. is hopeful that the sequel will better live up to the potential many had hoped the original Scribblenauts would have achieved – “The Scribblenauts sequel gives all players an enhanced game experience they will love and new challenges where they can use their imaginations even more.”
The game is once again helmed by 5th Cell’s Jeremiah Slaczka, the creative mind behind the DS games Lock’s Quest, Drawn to Life and the first Scribblenauts.
