Satoru Iwata to miss E3 2014 over health concerns

The president of Nintendo will not be at this year’s E3 Expo next week due to advice from his doctors.
Satoru Iwata who is 54 was advised not to travel overseas at this time, but no specific reason was given. He will be running Nintendo ‘business at usual’ however back in Japan. He will still be keep an eye on things at E3 but just won’t be there.
Since Nintendo isn’t doing a traditional E3 conference and instead a digital event online show it’s not known if this has been recorded already and if Iwata will be making an appearance there.
Let’s hope Mr Iwata is alright and he can soon travel again.
