During the recent Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Splatoon 3 would feature the return of the fan favourite Salmon Run mode, but unlike last time, the Next Wave will come packed with some larger and more dangerous foes
Players will get to encounter some new enemy types, the fun named Fish Stick, which contains a massive pole, with a bunch of smaller fish, spinning around on top. Or the Flipper-Flopper, someone who can create a ring and then flood it with their ink, making you go slow, before they drop right on top of you, but they are not the only danger, the massive Salmonid is coming as well, though it remains a mystery for now.
It is not all about new enemies though, there are some changes to the game for players, one new change that has been revealed so far is the ability to throw the eggs you carry. From player to player, or even just away from you to allow you to speed up and get around more, this new option should change the game in fun ways.
Splatoon 3 is set to release sometime this Winter and Salmon Run will be included within.
STALKER, Clock Tower, Shadows of the Damned, and more.
