You can take the NRL action onto your home console starting a week into this years season

Although originally slated for a Christmas release in 2009, Rugby League 3 for Wii is now set to be released on March 18, not long after the real season starts on March 12. Some naughty players are to blame for this, as various drink-related sponsors have asked to be removed from the game as a result of their behaviour.

If you’re lucky, though, you can give the game a go before then in select EB Games and Gamesmen stores. The list is below:

EB – Blacktown
EB – Mt Druitt
EB – Bondi Junction
EB – Miranda
EB – Westfield Kotara
EB – Rouse Hill Shopping Centre
EB – Macarthur Square, Campbelltown
Gamesmen – Penrith
Gamesmen – Penshurst
Gamesmen – Wollongong

Also be sure to check out the new trailer for the game, which we’ve included below for your convenience.
