Capcoms next big thing is heading to Japan in June

Capcom Japan has announced the release of the first Resident Evil game that has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS. We are of course talking about Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. The game is now dated for a June release in Japan and just falls in the fabled launch window that Nintendo announced.

The latest issue of Famitsu has also release new information on the game with it revealing a two player mode called Duo which will allow you to play with a friend locally or even online. The games producers have also hinted at more characters in the game outside of the already announced four. Its a Capcom game, so wed surprised not to see that.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D doesnt have a date outside of Japan as of yet, keep an eye out for one soon.
