Resident Evil 4, the game that comes to every platform is coming to one more – the Wii U.
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition will be made available this week during the eShop updates and they’ll be a discount as well. Normally a Wii title on the eShop will set you back $26.00, pick it up up before November 5th it’ll be only $19.50.
Resident Evil 4 was one of the GameCube’s best games and the Wii Edition was even better with amazing pointer controls – something we never got again on the Wii. The game also supported the Classic Controller which means you’ll be able to play it on the GamePad.

I think you’re wrong.
RE4:Wii edition (disc version) never did have classic controller options. I’m looking at the Wii game case and instruction booklet at the moment.
This is a game worthy of a release on the eshop.. maybe capcom will start bringing their other titles to it, like Zack and wiki
Good choice for a VC release. I only ever rented this and didn’t get that far (I think just past the house stand off early on in the game?) but I had an absolute blast playing it on the Wii with those controls. However, unlike the other Wii VC releases that are actually quite expensive to find physically (e.g. Metroid Prime Trilogy and Pandora’s Tower) this option can actually be a bit more expensive as you can find it for fairly cheap normally. Still, the initial discount price is fine should you wish to download it then and there.
