Report – Zelda: Breath of the Wild demo at EB Expo will be limited to EB customers
Update: We reached out to Nintendo Australia and here’s what they had to say.
Thank you for your query, however we have nothing to announce at this time. Please stay tuned for more information regarding our presence at EB Expo this year.
We’ll let you know when we have more.
Original Story: According to a report by Zelda Informer, only a limited number of people will be able to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at EB Expo 2016.
Their report states that only 333 people will get to play and that this limited amount of people are being selected from their customers who have four or more Zelda purchased games on their EB World Account.
Because only the biggest Zelda fans buy their games at EB Games.
If the report is correct then there’s obviously some reasoning behind this, the Breath of the Wild demo is 45 minutes long – you’d need a ton of units to move more people than that over the three days. But to potentially limit it to those who have the most money, only shop at one store – a bit shit really.
We’ve contacted Nintendo Australia for comment, as well as EB Expo.

It’s their expo, their rules.
Eb would hapily stop stockibg Nintendo consoles tonorrow and yet Nintendo keeps up these desperate, sad attempts to make EB favour them. It wont happem! Stop it!
