Release date confirmed for Lucas’s debut in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

The charming blonde gets his snake out in less than two weeks!

Nintendo America and Nintendo Europe have both taken to Twitter tonight to reveal that Lucas will be hitting Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS on the 14th of June. Lucas will be released on June 15th here in Australia and set you back $5.20 for him on just one version of the game or $6.50 for both.

Those of you playing at home will note that this takes place roughly two days before Nintendo’s Digital Showcase Event for E3 2015. Could they be gearing us up for a reveal of a brand new Mother sequel? Probably not.
