Dont expect Links or Pits outings anytime soon

The 3DS launch window, as Nintendo has dubbed it, is certainly filling out in a funny way. The window which stretches from late March to early June will see 30 games released in that period. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and Kid Icarus: Uprising will not be two of them.

What will be there, and on day one from Nintendo, are Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings and the new IP Steel Diver. Reggie says that "those two franchises have a lot of strength all by themselves. ’Steel Diver’ is a brand new experience, and from a compelling standpoint, we think it’s awfully compelling." Perhaps one of the worst uses of the world "awful" we’ve ever seen.

Reggie is confident we the "core" gamers will have enough to play. Expect the Australian Nintendo 3DS launch line-up to look very similar, albeit with the lack of Madden.
