Unannounced features revealed with keen eyes.

It’s amazing what some people will find in the smallest details and the folks at Nintendo-Nation.net have found some unannounced and rather cool details hidden in plain site on the packaging for the Wii U in North America.

The first couple of items we already knew or presumed would be there and that’s you’ll be able make and share Mii characters, you’ll also be able to interact with people via Miiverse.

However, the next two are the most interesting, the first of which states;
Download add-on content, full games, classic games and applications from Nintendo eShop (all contents sold separately).
This confirms a couple of things. One, that the service will be called the eShop as well and that applications will be made available via it. Don’t expect anything like the App Store though.

The last and possibly the most interesting is the revelation of ‘Wii U Chat’.  We’ve seen a form of this demoed during E3 2012 and that bizarre video that featured Non-Specific Action Figure. It’s likely there is text chat as well.
