Rayman Legends is coming to the Wii U with a little bit of NFC, Rabbids and Assasin's Creed.
After a leak earlier in the week the wraps have now been completely blown off the Rayman Origins sequel and it’s coming to the Wii U.
A trailer featuring gameplay footage of Rayman Legends has been leaked and it not only shows off the game and that it’s coming to the Wii U, but also that it will support the NFC functions of the Wii U controller.
The trailer shows off 4 players playing the game, one player has the Wii U tablet controller and is aiding the 3 other players in the game. It also shows off online multiplayer and mini games.
However the best is kept to last with the revelation that the game will use the controller’s near-field contact (NFC) abilities and allow you to use real world toys to change the game. The trailer shows adding extra health to the game or even allowing the Rabbids to invade the game with figurines. The trailer stops short just as a kid is looking over to a Ezio figurine. Assassin’s Creed in Rayman? Sure, why not.
The trailer is obviously unfinished as it contains music from not only Back to the Future but also How to Train Your Dragon. We’re thinking this was one for E3.
