Puyo Puyo Tetris mashup coming to Wii U and 3DS

There’s only so many times one person can buy a copy of Tetris and Puyo Puyo, so why not put them together in one game and have you play both of them at the same time? That’s what Puyo Puyo Tetris will do when its released on the Wii U, 3DS and other consoles next year.

Puyo Puyo Tetris will play out separately like you would expect but in two player mode one person will play Tetris one person will play Puyo Puyo. However, suddenly in the middle of the game it will switch and you will be playing the opposite game. You can of course play the games separately by yourself.

There’s no screenshots yet, the game was only mentioned briefly in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.
