We had literally a ton (literally may also mean figuratively) of entries this time around and it took us a while to read through them all, but we finally decided on the 5 winners.

We asked for your favourite scary gaming moment regardless of system, platform and game and you guys delivered many moments, mostly all of them scary and it was impossibly hard to pick but we did it.

First though we must thank Nintendo Australia for providing the copies of the game to give away. Without them we wouldn’t be able to do these great competitions!

We’ll be contacting all the winners via email to let them know they’ve won, just in case they don’t see it on the site!

Thanks to everyone for entering!

Project Zero 2: Wii Edition is available in stores this Thursday!

And the winners are….

In Fallout 3, I was strolling around when I came across a town full of inbred cannibals who slept with each other. Unfortunately, I stole some of their ‘meat’ pies and then killed them because they ‘liked’ me…
I’ve never looked at a 4’N Twenty Pies the same way again.
The scariest moment for me had to be my first encounter with Dr. Salvador in Resident Evil 4. The way the chainsaw came out of nowhere. The sound it made as it chopped Leon in two. The blood. It was such a visceral, frightening experience for me.
My scariest moment was in Bioshock, when the game starts you are in a bathospear entering Rapture, your tapped (sic) inside this small container while this unknown splicer starts ripping the metal and screaming wanting to kill you.

This scared me majorly I ran from my computer and didn’t look back.
I think the scariest moment for me would be the early areas of Doom 3. The sheer terror evoked in me as a young lad. I remember very well. Bodies hanging from the ceiling, a sense of lonely hopelessness, and demons everywhere, forcing me to play for 20 minutes at a time then have to stop.
Eternal Darkness, the very first time my character’s head was suddenly clean chopped off… but the body was still controllable! I screamed out loud… then got kicked in the emotional groin by getting to control my dying character! Then, ALIVE!  Absolute relief in realising… “It’s just that darned Sanity Meter!”
Thanks again to all those who entered!
