Project X Zone 2 headed west later this year

File this one under ‘we never expected it to happen’ but Project X Zone 2 has been announced and is coming to the Nintendo 3DS later this year.

The first game was a crossover SRPG collaboration from Bandai Namco, Sega and Capcom and featured characters from all three games companies’ history, most of which were obscure and unknown. The second game will be very much the same but does feature the likes of Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy and Strider… from Strider.

The game funnily enough will be due out in the west later this year, expect more details and character reveals leading up until the games release.
