And it's produced by TEKKEN's Katsuhiro Harada
Bandai Namco’s Katsuhiro Harada took to the Nintendo Direct stage (if you can even call it that) to announce the new project he’s presently working on. It’s presumably so early in development that he can’t even tell us what it’s going to be called or when it’s going to be released.
Tentatively titled PROJECT TREASURE, the game is a four player online co-operative title exclusively available for the Wii U. It will be offered as a free to play game, presumably via the Nintendo eShop.
The trailer is pretty scant with the details but Harada specified that the gameplay will focus on players cooperating to find treasure, disarm traps and route enemies. That’s literally all we know for now.
Once we know more about Project Treasure we’ll be sure to update you. But what do you think of it so far? Personally, this writer thinks it may or may not be a Tekken spin-off of some kind given the look of the characters.
