Despite Capcom saying there are no plans, it could still be on the way

When Capcom said they had no plans to release possibly one of the newest and coolest crossover titles, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, outside of Japan everyone was very disappointed. However theres some hope coming out of the Tokyo Game Show that might point to an English release of the game.

Handed out the show this year were English language press releases for the game, which in itself isnt weird. But in them, the game is referred to by its English title, "Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright" and not "Professor VS Gyakuten Saiban". The characters names also had English Names TDB on the end. Why would we need English names if the game isnt coming out in English speaking regions?

Its the great way of saying nothing and while game companies love to use the phrase Currently no plans, you know most of the time there are plans. Even if there are though, theyre not going to share them just yet. Its not a yes or a no, but its something.

So Capcom, how about you dont screw people over on this one?
