The trend of Europe getting games before North America continues.
In what’s being touted as the “culmination” of the Professor Layton series thus far, and the final installment, Shibata announced tonight during the Nintendo Direct that Professor Layton & The Azran Legacy finally has a release date across European territories (and hopefully, by extension, Australia too).
Azran Legacies is the sixth Layton game in the series and the final part in the prequel trilogy. It’s the last game where players control Layton, and takes him and his merry crew across all kinds of locations including a snowy town reported to house a living mummy from a mysterious ancient civilisation.
But enough about the game, when’s it coming out?! The European release date has been confirmed for November 8th later on in the year. and the Australian release date is like usual the day after on November 9th. The title will release to the eShop and retail simultaneously. The game previously launched in Japan during February earlier this year and will launch in North America sometime in 2014.
How do you feel about the release date for Azran Legacy? Let us know.
Get in quick, they go fast.
