Pokmon Black and White to feature seasons and musicals

Yes you heard correctly – it has musicals! Oh and theres a huge new trailer to pore over

A new gameplay trailer has shown off an array of recently-learnt information on the new Pokémon Black and White games and then some. The new trailer not only displays some of the new Pokémon and their unique moves but also the games shifting season mechanics. As a trainer, youll be battling in autumn, summer, winter and spring.

Wed recently learnt of the new contests new to Black and White and the trailer has since revealed these to be Pokémon Musicals. The game will provide fashion accessories for your Pokémon, allowing them to don an outfit and take to the stage in a musical to show off their abilities. Transferring of Pokémon is now done through a mini game called the PokéShifter, which sounds like a bit of a pain in the backside. On the plus side, there looks to be a rudimentary chatroom system coupled with the trading feature.

Pokémon Black and Whites feature set is coming along quite awesomely with tonnes of new features. Theres footage of the new wild Pokémon encounters, which allows for multiple Pokémon to attack your trainer. Theres also the High Link system, the advanced and triple battles, the internet connectivity with the mainframe website and more new Pokémon than you can shake your Pokéball at.

Pokémon Black and White is due out in September in Japan, and probably in 2011 for the rest of the world.
