Pokkén Tournament confirmed for Wii U, 2016 worldwide release

Many expected it, but now its official. Arcade fighter Pokkén Tournament is coming to the Wii U, worldwide, in Autumn next year. That’s ‘Spring’ for those in the northern hemisphere. The games Wii U release was confirmed at the Pokemon World Championships which just kicked off in Boston.
Pikachu Libre has also been added to the fighters roster. Interestingly the game in Germany will be called Pokémon Tekken, the logo even differs for that region. The word Pokken in German means ‘Smallpox’, oops.

I am glad to see it confirmed, bit disappointed about the wait though.. Could use a new game or two on my Wii U.
