Pokkén Fighters trademark registered – Pokémon fighting game on the way?
Last weekend the Pokemon Game Show was held in Japan, its not an actual game show but instead a celebration of all things Pokemon with the games, trading cards and even a new anime on display.
There was a trailer recorded at the event too, it ran over the history of Pokemon from the Game Boy to the 3DS. However if you stuck right until the end you would have seen something different. Check out the trailer below.
Now The Pokemon Company in the US has trademarked Pokkén Fighters and Pokkén Tournament. Could this footage be a Pokemon fighting game?
At this point we’d point out the similiarity between Pokkén and Tekken, Pokkén Tourament and Tekken Tournament.
Either way, whatever that is at the end of the trailer – its impressive looking.
