Retailers suggesting a September launch here

When it was announced that Europe was getting the latest Pokémon spin-off, we knew Australia and the rest of the world wouldnt be too far behind. Today, retail listings for Pikachus Adventure have shown up as a September release.

Taking place in a Pokémon theme park, Pikachu must collect shards of the Sky Prism that are protecting the park. The games title suggests the game is an adventure title, which it is to a point, but it eventually turns more into a mini-game compilation. Its the first Pokémon game on the Wii (retail anyway) since the 2007 release of Pokémon Battle Revolution.

A proper Pokémon RPG on a console, it seems, is still a long way off.

PokéPark Wii: Pikachus Adventure is out next month in Europe but expect to see a more solid date for Australia, hopefully, next week.
