Pokemon X & Y have been patched today and included are a bunch of fixes and patches intended to stop some hacks and glitches.

The change log officially says that it has fixed two issues, firstly a glitch where Pokemon could not learn new moves after evolving through Wonder Trade. The second was an issue where certain captions for Trainer PR Videos were not unlocked in Lumiose City. Nothing to exciting there.

Unofficially its been revealed that the latest patch, which is required for online play blocks the ‘Battle Analyser’ and ‘Instacheck’ tools. These tools intercepted Wi-Fi data and allows players too check unhatched Pokemon data and other interesting and things which could spoil online play.

This also means that Ranked Battles on Battle Spot are back on.

If we have a console where patch 1.1 hasn’t been loaded, will 1.2 include 1.1 as well?
