Pokémon X & Y sets new 3DS pre-order record in Japan

According to Japanese video game publication Famitsu, the power of the 3DS has just grown. Pokémon X & Y pre-orders have now exceeded 1.26 million copies.

This total, not including download versions, makes the new Pokémon titles the most pre-ordered 3DS game so far in Japan.

In comparison, Black 2 & White 2 had 1.16 million pre-orders, and the original Black & White games had 1.08 million pre-orders.
