Pokémon X & Y game breaking bug fix incoming says Nintendo

Don't save outside in Lumiose City.

Earlier in the week it was revealed that there was a game breaking bug in Pokemon X and Y.

The problem is intermittent but on occasion if you save your game within Lumiose City  your save data may become irreversibly corrupted. After which you would have to start the game again, not good if you’ve been training for hours.

Nintendo has now acknowledged the issue and says fix is on the way as soon as possible. If the bug has happened to you already this patch is said to fix corrupted data, your Pokemon may yet be saved.

Nintendo recommends obviously not saving your game outside within Lumiose City but you can save within a Pokemon Centre or any stores.

We’ll let you know when the patch is available.
