Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow coming to the 3DS Virtual Console

Hell hath officially frozen over, Nintendo is releasing Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow on the Nintendo 3DS early next year.

The games are coming on February 27th, the same day that the original games were first released in Japan in 1996. That’s 20 years ago folks.

You will again be able to Catch Em All with the games supporting wireless to emulate the faithful link cable. You’ll be able to (locally) trade and battle. Pokemon with other players.
