Pokémon Quest launches on mobile on June 28

Where it was always meant to be

Pokémon Quest launched last month on Switch as the first Game Freak-developed Pokémon game on the console, and even though it might not be the game many were hoping for, it’s been pretty successful so far. It’s about to make the jump over to mobile.

The free-to-start game will be identical on mobile to the Switch version, and features the same blocky Pokémon — called Pokéxel — as they quest through Tumblecube Island. When Pokémon Quest launched on Switch, it was obvious that its true home was on mobile; all of the prompts were for touch screen use, and the traditional controls were not great. That said, it has been revealed that Pokémon Quest has reached 2.5 million downloads on the Switch, which is pretty impressive for a spinoff.

Pokémon Quest will launch on iOS and Android on the 28th of June, and you can pre-register on your chosen platform by clicking on the links below.
