The Pokemon Company has announced that the second of four events in this season’s Pokémon International Championships will take place in Melbourne.

The Pokémon Oceania International Championships will take place from March 10th – 12th and be hosted at the Melbourne Park Function Centre. This is where the Australian Pokémon National Championships were held for the past two years. There’s prize money up for grabs, championship points and qualifying spots for the World Championships in August.

Here’s what you need to know, whether you’re a TCG or VGC player;

Pokémon TCG players will compete using the Standard format, including cards from the upcoming Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon expansion. Pokémon video game players will continue to develop strategies and battle using the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games (VGC Format 2017).

There could be some big names coming to this one, is your team ready?
