Pokémon Go Water Festival also brings Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados
There was one more detail about the Pokémon Go Water Festival that Niantic failed to mention, there’s shiny Pokémon in the game!
Well, there’s Shiny Magikarp at least which means should you have enough candy you can get a Shiny Red Gyarados. This mirrors Pokémon Gold and Silver as a Shiny Gyarados was the first shiny Pokemon most people ever saw in the games.
The appearance of a shiny Magikarp is random so go get catching.
