Updated 13/7: Version 1.0.2 of the app is now available on the App Store, it fixes the Pokemon Trainers Club login.

Original Story: As promised, Niantic has pushed up the first update for Pokemon Go – so far only for iOS users.

The app has been updated to version 1.0.1 and it promises more stability, crash fixes and to losen off just what Google account permissions it uses. The game never actually used the ‘full access’ it asked for, but they’ve adjusted the messaging to be more clear.

All of the fixes in this update seem to be around logging in, accounts and the previously mentioned Google issues. Hopefully the game is a little more stable at the same time.

Here’s the full patch notes, thanks to Xbox’s Larry Hyrb for tweeting them (wtf really).
