Pokemon Go gets tweaked Pidgey, Rattata and Zubat spawns, egg hatches
Niantic has announced via it’s Twitter account that it has tweaked sever aspects of the game that should make certain common nuisance Pokemon appear less in game.
Pidgeys, Rattatas and Zubats will now appear less commonly on the map and other Pokemon will appear in their place in order to make it easier to fill up that Pokedex. This change could make it hard to Pidgey farm and level up quick – you win some you lose some?
Professor Willow has discovered that Pidgey & Rattata no longer hatch from Eggs. He also found that Eevee now hatches from 5 km Eggs only.

The other change to the game involves eggs. You will no longer get a Pidgey or Rattata in an egg at all anymore and Eevee will now only hatch from 5km eggs. Walking 10kms to get an Eevee was a kick in the face quite frankly. (We love you Eevee still).
Professor Willow has discovered that you may encounter other Pokémon where Pidgey, Rattata, and Zubat were previously more commonly found.

The changes are all server side so there’s no need to do anything – not that you really have a choice anyway.
