Egg counter, Pokemon alerts and even PokeStops on your wrist.
It wasn’t just Super Mario who took to the Apple Keynote stage last night, no Pokemon Go of course got a mention – and an announcement.
Pokemon Go is coming to the Apple Watch! Naturally you’ll need the app on your iPhone too, but the watch App looks like an awesome companion.
With Pokemon Go on the Apple Watch you’ll be able to be alerted of wild Pokemon, PokeStops (and activate them) and you’ll be able to do a workout on the watch as you walk with Pokemon Go. At the end of the walk you’ll get a summary of your walk, but also what you’ve collected during the walk like Pokeballs and Eggs.
John Hanke from Niantic was on stage to present the demo and it should be out before the years end.
Oh and Apple announced a brand new GPS enabled Apple Watch Series 2 – funny that.
It's Black, Back Again.
