Pokémon Go celebrates Halloween with double candy and more from Oct 26th to Nov 1st

The first event from Pokemon Go is going live this week to help celebrate halloween. From October 26th until November 1st the game will reward you with twice as many candies for pretty much everything. Every time you catch, hatch and transfer Pokemon you’ll get double the amount of candy you normally would.

Make sure you set a buddy Pokemon as well on your travels because that Pokemon will get candy at 4x the usual rate.

In keeping with the theme there will also been an increase in spawning of ‘spooky’ Pokemon during the event period. That’s more Zubat, Golbat, Ghastly, Haunter, Gengar, Drowzee and Hypno in your travels.
