Pokémon Crystal conquered by Twitch

The TwitchPlaysPokémon stream continues to move from interesting idea to nearly religion like cult. Complete with brainwashing. Not really, but it’s a lot of fun anyway.

Now TwitchPlaysPokémon viewers have complete the next stage, Pokemon Crystal. The game was defeated in 9 days, 21 hours and 25 minutes. However it took an extra couple of days to fully complete the game and defeat Red atop Mt Silver.

So with Generation 2 complete, you guessed it the stream will be moving to Pokemon Emerald and the region of Hoenn. The complexity of the newer games is again going to pose an interesting and unique challenge.

The new stream kicks off in six days.
